The South Dakota
Department of Health is currently leading a new educational program
called "SIM-SD". SIM-SD stands for Simulation in Motion - South
Dakota. This project delivers state-of-the-art training to
pre-hospital and hospital ER staff utilizing human patient
simulators. The training is provided in local communities at no cost
to the end user. For more information, visit

District IV has
money available to assist you in putting on an EMT-Basic class. If
you are interested in finding out more about this program or
applying for funds, please contact Chuck.
District IV has equipment
available for you to use for training! We have anything and
everything needed to put on an EMT-Basic course (except for MAST
Pants). Contact the District Training Officer for more information.
